Greetings,

Due to this changing time we will be offering TeleHealth until the Insurance companies indicate otherwise.

The following insurance plans ARE PAYING for TeleHealth:

  • Medicaid

  • Optum/United Healthcare

  • Highmark

  • UPMC

  • Aetna

Check your insurance plan to be sure.

You will need to fill out our paperwork online prior to your first session. First sessions will be cancelled if the paperwork is not completed the day before the session. Please call us if you have any questions or need the paperwork to complete.

If you were or are an established client, you only need to fill out a TeleHealth consent form.

Office Safety Precautions in Effect During the Pandemic

Y Counseling LLC is taking the following precautions to protect our patients and help slow the spread of the Coronavirus.

  • Clients will have a choice to remain in their vehicle until the office is ready. The waiting area is open, but not recommended at this time. If you remain in your car please text your counselor upon your arrival. You will receive a text when the office is ready. 2022, clients who are comfortable are able to use the waiting room.

  • Office seating in therapy room has been arranged for appropriate physical distancing.

  • I have added a sneeze wall barrier to allow for communication without masks.

  • Maintain safe distancing.

  • Restroom soap dispensers are maintained and everyone is encouraged to wash their hands.

  • Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in the therapy room.

  • Apple pen and other areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized after each use.

  • Physical contact is not permitted.

  • Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.

  • Common areas are thoroughly disinfected at the end of each day.

  • The office has added HEPA filters with UV lights. Though no guarantee, we hope to continue to reduce the spread of the virus.

  • The office has moved to paperless as much as possible. For insurances that require signatures the Therapy Portal will be utilized for secure, encrypted signatures.

  • The office will continue to utilize physical encounter forms that will be signed on an Ipad with an Apple pencil, in Google docs.

  • The office will be disinfected to the best of our ability between clients.

  • We will cancel an appointment if we are not feeling well, giving clients an option to meet by TeleHealth. Sessions cancelled within 24 hours notice will now be charged cancellation fee if they do not move to Telehealth. This is in the attendance policy, and had been waived due to the pandemic. The waiver has ended.

We understand that clients may wish to attend a counseling appointment, even if they are not feeling well. In those cases, clients may change their appointment to TeleHealth within two hours of session and avoid cancellation fee. (Pending insurance allowing.)
